The center panel was stamped with stamps that I made myself. I then combined that with commercial fabrics and beading. The fabric in the top left and bottom right is a landscape of countryside with water running through it---thus the quilt's name! And yes, this piece is “crooked”. Sometimes they just tell me what shape they need to be and I can't do anything about it. My photographer (my dad) always wants to know if these unusually shaped ones are hanging straight as they just don't frame up right in his camera!
